Role Overview

As a SAP Development Professional, you will design, develop, enhance, and support scalable SAP applications that integrate seamlessly with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Private Cloud. You will follow SAP’s modern development principles and contribute to high-quality, enterprise-grade utility solutions within the Market Communication (MaCo)landscape.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, test, and support SAP applications on S/4HANA and/or SAP BTP

2. Build scalable, maintainable solutions following SAP development standards and best practices

3. Work on complex utility business processes and market communication flows

4. Collaborate with cross-functional global teams in an agile environment

5. Identify edge cases and ensure robustness of business logic

6. Participate in DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and agile ceremonies

Required Skills & Experience

1. Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development

2. Solid expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and SAP BTP

3. Experience across the full SDLC: design, development, testing, deployment, and support

4. Deep understanding of utilities-specific modules, including:

5. IS-U Master Data

6. Billing

7. Device Management

8. EDM

9. IDEX

10. Experience working with Agile methodologies, DevOps, and JIRA

11. Ability to understand complex business processes and data flows

12. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

13. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an international team

14. Self-driven with strong ownership and prioritization skills

Nice to Have

1. Knowledge or exposure to AI-based business solutions

2. Experience with AI development toolswithin SAP ecosystem
